Industry Consultations: FFC's Draft Investment Guidelines 2004/05

The FFC is releasing draft investment guidelines for 2004/05 for discussion with the industry. These are draft guidelines only and have not yet been adopted by the FFC Board.

The industry consultations, led by FFC chief executive Brian Rosen, will begin on Friday 23 April 2004, with a roundtable meeting with the Screen Producers Association of Australia (SPAA), the Independent Producers Initiative (IPI), the Australian Directors Association (ASDA), the SPAA/ASDA Documentary Council (SADC), and the Australian Writers Guild (AWG).

The consultation with the guilds will be followed by open meetings for producers/industry practitioners in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide as follows:

MELBOURNE
Date: Tuesday 27 April 2004
Venue: Rydges Hotel, 186 Exhibition Street, Melbourne
10.30am - 12.30pm Documentary
2pm - 4pm Television drama (children & adult)
4pm - 6pm Features

SYDNEY
Date: Thursday 29 April 2004
Venue: State Library of NSW Conference Room Macquarie Street
9am - 11.00am Features
11.00am - 1pm Television drama (children & adult)
2pm - 4pm Documentary

BRISBANE
Date: Friday 30 April 2004
Venue: 111 George Street Conference Rooms, Conference Room 3 Charlotte Street entrance (where the PFTC office is located)
10.00am- 1pm Documentary/Television drama/Feature films

ADELAIDE
Date: Monday 3 May 2004
Venue: SAFC Offices 3 Butler Drive Hendon
9am - 12noon Documentary & television drama will be discussed first, followed by features (approximately 10.30am)

PERTH
Date: Tuesday 4 May 2004
Venue: Art Gallery Theatrette, Perth Cultural Centre, Perth (enter via Administration Entrance)
9am - 12noon Documentary/Television drama/Feature films
